Estate Auction Find. Up for sale are Two (2) MRS POTTS Sad Irons with a Removable Wooden Handle. One of the sad irons is marked “MRS POTTS SAD IRON” with the number “1”. The other is marked “MRS POTTS CROWN SAD IRON” and “N R STREETER & CO CROTON NY” unable to make out rest of markings – including patented dates. The wood on the wooden handle appears to be homemade replacement as the edges are squared and not rounded. The handle will attach to either iron. Condition is Preowned / Used.
