2022 Cook Islands 1oz Silver Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark FDI- PCGS PR70DCAM
This 2022 Cook Islands 1oz Obsidian black Silver Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark coin is graded a PR70DCAM by PCGS and is a First Day of Issue. This coin has a limited mintage of only 1992. The coin comes with a themed display box and certificate of authenticity.
Fear of the Dark is the fourth coin released in the Iron Maiden series. The coin celebrates the 30th anniversary of the 1992 release of the Fear of the Dark album. It was the last to feature Bruce Dickinson as the group’s lead vocalist until his return in 1999. The album cover depicts their mascot Eddie as a kind of Nosferatu tree figure leering down from under the glistening moon.
The reverse features the Fear of the Dark album cover in high resolution.
The obverse features the right facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include "ELIZABETH II", "5 Dollars', "Cook Islands", and "2022".
