Antique Advertising Brass Paperweight, Alamo Iron

This listing is for an Antique Advertising Paperweight for the ALAMO IRON WORKS. This is a brass paperweight in the shape of the Alamo circa 1920. In raised lettering along the back edge it is marked "Alamo Iron Wks" and along the bottom edge is "Since 1878". The back is marked "For Better Castings." This item is 2 1/4" high x 2 1/2" wide. AIW remains a major steel fabricator and distributor today. This is a very good high quality casting. What a great present this will make.
