Up for sale is this Antique Pat.D 1880's Cast Iron Mechanical Owl on Stump Bank WORKS Original Paint. This bank is beautiful and truly shows craftsmanship. This bank works great and has lasted so long and will continue to last. This is perfect for any collector! Must have for the collection. I believe this bank is missing the glass marbel eyes and it’s missing the bank plug for the bottom. The one ear is is broken off but the bank is still great. The story of how the war was broken off is amazing. The guy I bought this from took the bank into school for show and tell in the 1950’s and accidentally dropped the bank on the ground when walking into school. He was so devastated that he ruined such a cool piece. He loved this bank and was so proud of it! Buying what you see in the pictures. Condition is Used.
