8232634240TBBX Original Antique Cast Iron Andirons with glass eyes. Circa 1890. These are from a Connecticut Foundry named Peck, Stowe and Wilcox and are among the best castings of this type of andirons. There are identifying features that indicate their origin. A number of foundries cast Owl Andirons, but few produced this quality. The translucent yellow eyes with black pupils allow the light from the fireplace to pass through them and light up the eyes. 15 1/4" H. X 9" Wide X16" in depth.
