Antique Cast Iron

Offering a nice large cast iron red painted dog which is a nutcracker.
Dog has a lot of the original cold paint left on it.
Unknown manufacturer.
Base measures approx. 7 1/4" x 4 3/4"
Dog stands approx. 5 1/4" tall and length wise is approx. 10".
In as found condition and could use a good cleaning but I will let the new owner handle that.
Nutcracker in great aged condition and will still serve it's intended purpose today just as when first produced.
I actually know very little about this old piece but did receive the following information from a very helpful Pricetronic member: Good Afternoon, I do agree that the paint theme is quite old however, it would have been an aftermarket owner that came up with the artwork. The factory original cast iron dog was just raw black iron or spray painted black when it hit the retail market. Interesting choice of paint colors though.
