Antique "century" Ornate Cast Iron

Ornate cast iron horizontal rim lock manufactured c1890's, with the letters SHCo in the medallion above the key hole. Most likely Simmons Hardware Co. Paired with dark brown mineral doorknobs, which have a few flea bites and scratches, but no major chips. Also included are a working key and a fancy scalloped key escutcheon and screws. Lock has a brass slide privacy bolt at the top which allows you to lock the door for privacy without using the keyed bot. It is in very good working order. These locks were made throughout the 1890's to commemorate America's entry into the new 20th century.
Doorknobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Lock measures 3 1/4" x 4". Keeper is an additional 7/8" on jamb. Back set is 2 1/4"
