Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 19th Century New Haven Victorian Black Iron Mantel Clock circa 1880, made by the New Haven Clock Company New Haven Conn USA. It has a Beautiful Victorian Black Iron Case With Engraved Gold Gilded Designs. It has a Paper Dial Over Tin, signed with the "New Haven" Star Trademark. This Clock has a New Haven Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime. There are 2 Winding Arbors, but the Clock is Missing the Pendulum and Winding Key. The Clock measures approx. 15" Wide x 10" Tall x 6 1/2" Deep, and is Very Heavy!!! This Clock has Been Sitting a Long Time, and is Being Sold for Parts, Restoration, or Repairs. This will make a Stunning addition to your home, with Great Potential for Restoration.
