Gorgeous Art Nouveau Art Deco bridge arm floor lamp with palm motif, popular in the 1920's and early 1930's. Palm leaf on the adjustable bridge arm. Tinged green palm at mid iron pole. No shade, but lovely orange flicker bulb.(I do not know the vintage of the bulb, but it still works!) The base is marked
with the number 2106. No breaks or dents or flaws! See photos. When acquired there was some loss
of colored finish to the bridge arm and base. But interestingly there
were remnants of both gold, green, and bronze coppery colors. The lamp was cleaned antique gold and autumn bronze gilding wax were applied to
worn areas on the bridge arm, pole, and base . All parts are
original. The total
height is 62 inches with a bridge arm width of 17 inches, and base is 9.5 inches wide. From the 1930's when Art Nouveau palms and ferns were all the rage. Heavy, as its real bronze. Flickering bulb included. Still works when plugged in, but I would recommend a new cord. Fixing up old lamps in a hobby, and I love the old, heavy quality and artistry each one has.
