Vintage Cast Iron String or Twine Holder/Dispenser. Ball part interlocks so can be opened to refill ball of string. The ball can stand on its own - has 3 metal feet or can be hung on wall mount which is included. (No screws are included).
The ball itself, on its feet, stands approximately 4 inches tall. The diameter, from inner rim to inner rim, measures approximately 3-1/4 inches in diameter.
There is an old price tag/description that identifies as twine holder - $4.50. Yes, we have had it for a very long time; prices are from yesteryear!!
