Antique (pre-Griswold) #9 ERIE cast iron Tea Kettle (gate marked) with hang-chain. This piece was my Grandfathers who worked for the P&LE Railroad. It was never used as a functional piece in our home, but was used back in the day. It is approx 8” high (handle down) and about 10” across. The inside has some surface rust, but nothing major. Weights about 10 lbs. (a little over 10 lbs with the chain). I am not an expert on cast iron, so please, if I have left anything out, contact me with questions.
