The weight is 7 pounds 7.9 ounces. Its heat ring measures 5-7/8 inches in diameter. This was designed to fit in a 6 to 8 inch wood stove eye. This is a high quality casting, in excellent, well cared for condition. There is very light fine pitting on the center of the kettle bottom. There are no other blemishes. The bottom shows no sign of warping and it sits perfectly flat with no rocking. The wire handles are in original form with no distorted bends. There are no chips, cracks or gouges and no repairs. I have just thoroughly cleaned this of all grease, rust and carbon with the use of electrolysis, and baked seasoned it with vegetable shortening.
