A FOUNDER'S GRADE 1 1/2" WIDTH TAPERED CUTTING IRON, CHIP BREAKER AND FIXING SCREW by Erik Anton Berg, Eskilstuna, Sweden. This old hardware stock iron and chip breaker, which were rescued from a Connecticut hardware store many years ago are in unused condition and could be put directly to use. The cutting iron is marked at the top with the maker name and the distinctive "shark" logo used by this highly respected edge tool maker. This old hardware stock tapered cutting iron, is in superb condition and could be put directly to use in an appropriate size plane or if you are making your own plane. As good as they get.
