This old hardware stock iron, which was rescued from a Connecticut hardware store many years ago is in unused condition and could be put directly to use. It is marked at the top with the maker name and the distinctive "shark" logo used by this highly respected edge tool maker. This old hardware stock parallel cutting iron, which measures a uniform 5/32" in thickness, is in superb condition and could be put directly to use in an appropriate size plane or if you are making your own plane.
