Griswold Cast Iron

For your consideration is this hard-to-find promotional skillet from Griswold. The founder of the Cleveland Flux Company, Cliff Cornell, was an American businessman with a knack for self-promotion. He partnered with several prominent manufacturers of the time to create promotional products with his name or the name of his business. These items were then gifted to customers, friends and business associates.
Based on Griswold’s colonial breakfast skillet, it features 3 divided cooking compartments. The design of this pan allows you to cook bacon strips in the long section, then tilt the pan and use the rendered bacon grease to cook your fried eggs in the smaller sections. Or substitute a fried egg for some hash browns.
The cooking surface is clean and smooth with minimal utensil marks.
The bottom features Griswold’s large logo with Compliments “Cliff” Cornell above and The Cleveland Flux Co. below.
The handle has a very unique faceted design with a hole for hanging.
Sits flat.
Cleaned to bare iron and seasoned 3 times.
