NOTE: According to Le Creuset, all enameled cast iron may sometimes have mini bubbles, fine black dots, tiny pinholes, which the company considers normal even for first quality Le Creuset.  After an extremely thorough inspection process & strict company compliance anything deemed unsellable is melted back down to create new products.  Le Creuset has a no flaw policy on first quality products.
