Macgregor Nicklaus Jnp Forged 1-p,s Golf Iron

For your consideration:  vintage men’s right-handed Macgregor Nicklaus JNP Forged cavity back eleven iron golf set 1-P,S with three rings on the hosel and “SG” engraved on the faces (note: from what I have come to understand, two rings on the hosel is the v-groove model and three rings on the hosel is the  “square-groove” model. Also, I believe that “SG” on the face means “square grooves.” You might want to verify this.  Sand wedge only has two rings on the hosel and no “SG” on the face and is most likely the v-groove model).  Club heads show signs of frequent use, but still have plenty of good shots left in them.  As can be seen in the last photo, the #7 and PW have some dings that I have circled in red. Besides these and some normal chatter marks and tiny nicks associated with soft-forged irons, there are no other big ugly dings (note: as can be seen in the second photo, some of the soles have wear to the chrome that has resulted in rust. The faces of a few of the irons show normal wear to the chrome with some brassing/browning; however, the grooves are still in good shape. Equipped with Macgregor Velocitized Frequency Matched 300-S stiff flex steel shafts (note: the SW and 9 iron have True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 stiff flex steel shafts which match the set nicely as the size of the steps are the same; also, the beginning of the first step of the shafts match nicely with the set. By the way, the Velocitized shafts definitely look like a Dynamic Gold shaft.  Shaft labels show considerable wear). The 5 iron length is 37.75" inches (note my measurement was taken with a carpenters ruler along the back side of the shaft from the sole of the club to the end of the grip with the club heads last groove parallel to a hard grounding surface). The ferules and detail trim rings are in decent shape (note: the SW and 9 iron have no detail trim rings at the top. The top detail trim rings for the #1 and #2 irons are loose).  Golf  Pride Softie grips are in nice cosmetic and playable shape (note: though not stated on the grip, they kind of feel like midsize).
