Tommy Armour Silver Scot 986 Tour Golf Iron

For your consideration: men’s right-handed  Tommy Armour Silver Scot 986 Tour eight iron golf set (3-P). Also included, are two utility wedges that will be described near the end; so,  READ ON!  Club heads are in decent shape for their age with some normal chatter-type marks and only one ding on the Pw leading edge that I have circled in the second photo. Grooves are in very good shape and have a bunch of shots left in them. Equipped with True Temper Flex Flow regular flex steel shafts that are pinned to the hosels and that have a unique design that can be seen in the third photo from the end (note: flex does not feel wimpy. Looking at the hosel pins, it seems to me that these may have been re-shafted, though I am not sure).  The length of the 5 iron is 38” inches (note: my measurement was taken with a carpenters ruler along the backside of the shaft from the end of the grip to the sole of the club with its last groove parallel to a hard grounding surface).  Ferules and detail trim rings are in decent shape (note: #3 ferule is missing it’s top black detail trim ring). Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips have retained softness, but have wear marks, and probably should be changed. Also included in the last two photos, is a Reid Lockhart Dual Bounce Sole 56* that is equipped with a Lockhart FP-50 Microtaper Technology by Royal Precision in firm flex and a Lamkin Perma Wrap Lockhart logo grip that is in very good shape (grip looks like the “Classic” model). Club head has some nicks and dings on the sole (photo 2) and chatter-type marks especially on the face; however, the grooves are in very good shape.  The length of the club is 35.25” and is almost 1” shorter than the Pw which is 36-1/8”. Also included is a Ram FX 60* that is equipped with a Ram steel shaft whose flex feels comparable and a Winn grip that will need to be changed for play (note: shaft label has considerable wear). Club face has chatter marks; however, there are no dings and the grooves are in very good shape. The length of the club is 35-3/8” and is almost 1” shorter than the Pw which is 36-1/8”.
