Vintage #5 Favorite Puritan Cast Iron Skillet w/Heat Ring, Circa 1930's. It has several ghost marks but it looks like Puritan. This looks like a Favorite/Puritan skillet. Made by Favorite for Sears Roebuck. It is free of cracks and chips and sits flat. It has been stripped in a lye bath, cleaned and seasoned twice with Crisco in a 500 degree oven.
Measurements: 7 3/4" across the top, 6 1/4" cooking surface and is 1 3/4" deep. It is a used piece and does have utensil marks, which will fill in with use. The cooking surface is very smooth.
