Vintage Olive Oyl Cast Iron

This is one vintage coin bank in the shape of Popeye The Sailor Man's girlfriend and eventual wife Olive Oyl. The bank is made of cast iron and is cast in two sections (front and back) that are held together with a screw on the back. Olive Oyl is wearing a bright red dress with a white collar and her signature black boots. Her black hair is in a tight bun and she is standing on a green patch of grass. (The bank is very colorful.) On the back is a slot to deposit the coins and the screw--unscrew it to get the coins out. This bank measures 6" tall and 2 1/16" wide at its widest point (its arms). The round base is 2" in diameter and the bank weighs 15 ounces (not the shipping weight). PACKAGING: Will be shipped in a box with ample cushioning.
