I have plugged this in and it heat up hot.
900 watt electric.
The timer is non electric. It needs to be taken off & apart perhaps. It turns and will make the bell ding when turned all the way off to the left. But it does not seem to self time, and self turn-off with a ding.
This is big and heavy cast iron & aluminum construction. Overall total dimensions are approx 24 x 12 inches x 7 inches. Weighs approx 38 lbs.
