Antique Vtg Railroad Signal Sign Post Finial Electrical Pole Cast Iron

Old cast iron Railroad Pole Finial for Electrified Sign or Signal. 9" tall x 5" diameter. Fits over a 3-1/2" diameter pole. Weighs about 9 pounds. There is a cast part number on 2 sides: 1747 There are 2 square-top set screws near the bottom that are painted/rusted in place. There are two holes that are likely designed for an electrical connection for the sign or signal that would have been attached to the pole below the finial. There is some general soiling and wear to the layers of paint. See all photos.
